Community Manager (Freelancer / Working Student / Mini Job)

We know that cooperation and exchange are very valuable: Because of this, we are not only active in the data science and Python Community, but we also play a major role in organizing the conferences “PyCon.DE & PyData Berlin”, “PyData Südwest” and PyData Frankfurt”. We are offering you the chance to become even more involved with these conferences.

We are currently looking for support for the organisation of our community events and communication with the association. Your job will be to work together with Königsweg Domain Experts to organise and run meet ups. As part of the team, you will be able to benefit from our extensive experience in the Python and Data Science Community. An affinity for Python and Open Source is very important for this role. This position is well-suited for Python Novices with a solid knowledge of the program, who are looking to expand their knowledge.

  • Maintenance of communities and networks
  • Independent planning and implementation of events and meet ups, including the creation of briefings, agendas, and cost plans
  • Responsibility for the Python Community and regular communication and inspiration for new ideas
  • Association organization, member management, and physical and digital communications
  • Creation of projects, content and ideas with the community and other network partners
  • Extension of the existing network and maintenance of relationships to key leaders and stakeholders

  • Fluent in German and English in writing and speaking

Your onboarding takes place within our team and directly during the work on a project. One of our senior consultants will assist you as a mentor and support you in familiarizing yourself with our exciting areas of responsibility. You should bring your own new ideas into our existing processes and contribute to their further development.
