Unter dem Thema KI im produzierenden Mittelstand wurden mit drei Magnet Talks von Prof. Dr. Martin Ruskowski von DFKI, Armin Wallnöfer (ABB) und Alexander Hendorf (KÖNIGSWEG) die Fragestellung
"Wie können produzierende KMU künstliche Intelligenz gewinnbringend einsetzen?" aus den Blickwinkeln Smart Factory / Production Level 4, Robotik, Geräteherstellung und Umsetzung im Unternehmen beleuchtet.

In seinem Vortrag fokussierte Alexander Hendorf die für Produktionsfirmen relevanten Bereiche für den Einsatz von KI im Gesamtunternehmen:

Was alles kann KI (oder auch nicht) und vor allen wie gut und für wieviel?

Welche Rolle spielen Change, IT, und Forschung und Entwicklung?

Produktion fängt mit Entscheidungen an, KI kann Entscheidungen von Menschen unterstützen. Die Kosten hierfür fallen kontinuierlich und führten zu einem breiten Einsatz und zu Mehrwert.

Treiber dieser Entwicklung sind nicht nur die gesteigerte Rechenleistung und geringere Kosten für Datenhaltung, sondern auch Open Source Software und freier Wissensaustausch.

Dies alles untermauerte er mit Beispielen zum "Anfassen" und Auszügen aus seinen Einsatz-Tagebüchern.

Das 11. Netzwerkforum Smart Production fand am 17. November im ABB Ability™ Customer Experience Center in Ladenburg statt.
